Tommy Craig appointed St Mirren manager

Tommy Craig is appointed the new manager of St Mirren following Danny Lennon's departure.

St Mirren have confirmed that Tommy Craig is the club's new manager.

The 63-year-old Scot takes over from Danny Lennon, who saw his four-year spell at St Mirren Park come to an end on Monday afternoon.

Craig's last role in management was a brief stay at Belgian side Charleroi between November 2009 and April 2010.

Gary Teale and Jim Goodwin have both been promoted to assist Craig as player-coaches.
