Harry Redknapp reveals Harry Kane interest

Queens Park Rangers boss Harry Redknapp says that he is still interested in signing Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane on loan.

Queens Park Rangers boss Harry Redknapp has revealed that Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane is still on his radar.

Kane came close to joining the R's on loan at the end of the summer transfer window, only for the move to break down after Andy Johnson decided to remain at Loftus Road.

"I was going to take Harry on the deadline. I was going to take him that night when AJ looked like he was going to Palace," he told reporters at a press conference.

"Now, I don't know. Harry's probably the third choice at Spurs now. Whether they'll still loan him, I don't know. They might do.

"Andy Johnson missed all of last season - is he going to stay fit? Bobby Zamora's had problems too. That is the only area. Everywhere else I'm very happy with."

QPR currently sit second in the Championship table.
