Spain Under-21s forward Inaki Williams wary of "very strong" Italy Under-21s

Spain Under-21s forward Inaki Williams insists that his team will have to be at their best to overcome Italy Under-21s in the semi-finals of the European Championships.

Spain Under-21s forward Inaki Williams has insisted that his team will have to be at their best in order to overcome Italy Under-21s in the semi-finals of the Under-21 European Championships in Poland.

Spain won all three of their group matches to advance to the final four of the competition, while Italy beat Germany Under-21s in their final group fixture on Saturday to book their spot in the knockout round.

Athletic Bilbao's Williams, who has one goal to his name this summer, is predicting "a great game", but has insisted that La Roja 'have a good feeling' ahead of the match-up on Tuesday night.

"It'll be a great game against Italy and both teams have a great chance of reaching the final," Williams told reporters. "We've got a good feeling and realise that to win the tournament, we need to beat the Azzurri too. We've got to prove we're better on the night.

"Italy are very strong, we studied them carefully and I am sure they'll make qualification very complicated for us. Italy play with ardour, but we believe in the final."

The competition's other semi-final will see England Under-21s face Germany Under-21s.
