Report: Southampton want Juan Quintero

A report claims that Southampton want to sign Porto's Colombian attacker Juan Quintero, who is currently on loan at Rennes.

Southampton are reportedly interested in signing Porto attacker Juan Quintero.

The Colombian international, who joined Porto from Pescara in 2013, is currently on loan at French outfit Rennes after making just 13 league appearances last season.

A number of clubs have been linked with the 22-year-old, but according to the Daily Mail, Southampton are preparing to make a £16m move when the January window opens.

Quintero, who has 13 Colombian caps to his name, is believed to have been watched by the Saints on a number of occasions this season.
