Schalke 04 midfielder Kevin-Prince Boateng has praised the performance of teammate Klaas Jan Huntelaar following his two goals against Augsburg.

The Dutch forward grabbed a brace in the game to lead his side to a 2-1 comeback victory, after Tobias Werner opened the scores early on.

"That's why he's 'The Hunter', he hunts. He did it twice today and with him in the side we've always got a chance of winning games because he's always in the right place," said Boateng, according to the official Bundesliga website.

"It was really difficult, a really tough game, but we knew it would be. Augsburg played really well and they were very strong. Fortunately luck was on our side tonight."

The win sees Schalke sitting in third position in the Bundesliga table.
