Rudi Garcia "disappointed" with draw against Parma

Rudi Garcia says that Roma were "too slow" in their goalless draw against Serie A's bottom club Parma.

Roma manager Rudi Garcia has expressed his disappointment following his side's goalless draw with Parma this afternoon.

The Giallorossi completely dominated the match, but they were unable to break down their opponents and were eventually booed off by their own fans.

"We stepped up the tempo in the second half," the club's official Twitter feed quotes Garcia as saying. "The first period was the issue. We were too slow. Everyone knows against a side that plays with everyone at the back that you need to open the scoring to force them out

"We only hit the target with four shots from 20. That's not how you score goals and that's our problem at the moment. The crowd are disappointed because they want to see the team win. We all are.

"If we are to be ambitious we have to win games and not get results like today's. We've got the Europa League on Thursday and we have to do everything we can to get back to winning ways"

Roma are second in the Serie A table and sit six points behind leaders Juventus, but that could stretch to nine points should the Bianconeri win their match at Cesena this evening.
