Real Zaragoza overcome the challenge of Osasuna to claim maximum points at La Romareda.

Former Tottenham Hotspur striker Helder Postiga was among the goals as Real Zaragoza took maximum points from their home encounter against Osasuna this afternoon.

The hosts started brightly and made their most of their domination with four minutes played. Victor Fernandez picked out Postiga inside the area and the Portuguese frontman converted from close range.

However, parity was restored in the 29th minute when Emiliano Armenteros finished off a cross from Timor.

Timor was involved in the third goal of the match just before the break when he put the ball into his own net to hand the lead back to Zaragoza.

Both sides had chances to find the net after the restart, but it was Apono who made sure of the victory for the home team when he scored from the penalty spot with 19 minutes left to play.
