Ruben Pardo has signed a new contract extension with Real Sociedad.
The 21-year-old, who is widely regarded as one of the best young midfielders in Spanish football, had reportedly been a transfer target for a number of European clubs.
However, such speculation has now been quelled, with the Spaniard extending his contract with the Basque outfit until 2018.
Sociedad have won just two of their last six in the league, with that run of results leaving them in sixth spot in the La Liga table with just two games to play.
