Real Madrid, Barcelona, Inter Milan 'learn price for Agustin Urzi'

Banfield attacker Agustin Urzi, who has been linked with Barcelona, Real Madrid and Inter Milan, has a £26.2m release clause in his current deal.

Banfield's Agustin Urzi has a €30m (£26.2m) release clause in his current contract, but the Argentine club have revealed that the attacker could be available for a smaller fee during this summer's transfer window.

Real Madrid, Barcelona and Inter Milan are all believed to be tracking the 19-year-old, who has scored twice and provided two assists in 32 appearances for his current side in all competitions.

Urzi - compared to Juventus attacker Paulo Dybala by sections of the Argentine press - helped his nation's Under-23 side win the Pan American Games last year.

Banfield president Lucia Barbuto has confirmed that there is a €30m (£26.2m) release clause in the teenager's contract, although "a smaller figure" could be negotiated due to the coronavirus outbreak.

"There have been several inquiries, but we have not received any formal offers yet," FC Inter News quotes Barbuto as saying. "When the interest is concrete, we will analyse it and evaluate what will be best for the future of the player and the club.

"With the current world situation due to the coronavirus pandemic, we don't really know what the next transfer market will be like globally.

"The clause is €30m (£26.2m). However, in order not to impact the player's career, and taking into account the effects of the pandemic, we are willing to possibly negotiate even for a smaller figure. But, obviously, we will have to analyse the offer well from an economic and sporting standpoint."

Urzi's current deal with Banfield will run until the summer of 2023.
