Cristiano Ronaldo hopes to be reunited with Gareth Bale and Karim Benzema for the first time this season when Real Madrid face Al Jazira Club.

Real Madrid forward Cristiano Ronaldo has talked up his partnership with Karim Benzema and Gareth Bale, admitting that it "would be great" if all three start against Al Jazira Club in the Club World Cup.

European champions Madrid take on the Arabian side in the semi-finals of the competition on Wednesday evening, aiming to remain on course for back-to-back titles.

Bale has been named as part of Los Blancos' travelling party, despite featuring just once since the end of September with a troublesome injury problem.

Ronaldo and Benzema were also in and out of the side early in the campaign, with the famed 'BBC' trio yet to start a match together this term, but the Portuguese superstar hopes to finally be reunited in Abu Dhabi.

"I like that the squad is complete, not only with Karim and Gaz," he told beIN Sports. "I like that there are no injuries, it is a good sign, a sign that we are all together and that the squad is very good. It would be great if BBC played together again.

"It is a very important tournament for us," he added. "It's obviously a pleasure to play it because you can only do it if you've won the Champions League.

"I've had the chance to win the Club World Cup with Real Madrid and also with Manchester United. It's a competition that I like a lot. What I want is to win and if it's possible to score and help the team win this cup."

Current holders Real, well off the pace in La Liga, also won the Club World Cup in 2014.
