Saturday's La Liga predictions including Barcelona vs. Alaves

Sports Mole provides score predictions for all of Saturday's La Liga fixtures, including Barcelona vs. Alaves.

Elche vs. Real Madrid (Saturday, 1.00pm)

Real Madrid will be bidding to return to winning ways in La Liga on Saturday afternoon when they make the trip to Estadio Manuel Martinez Valero to take on Elche.

Los Blancos were held to a goalless draw by Osasuna on Wednesday but still returned to the top of the table, while Elche will enter the contest off the back of a 1-0 defeat at Alaves on Tuesday.

We say: Elche 1-3 Real Madrid

Elche are capable of making this a tricky afternoon for Real Madrid, who struggled to get going against Osasuna last time out. Los Blancos will be determined to return to winning ways, though, and we are finding it very difficult to predict anything other than a routine victory for the title hopefuls.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.

Sevilla vs. Osasuna (Saturday, 3.15pm)

Sevilla could have the chance to move to the top of La Liga with a win over Osasuna on Saturday afternoon, should Real Madrid slip up away to Elche.

Having lost one game all season, Sevilla will be hoping this is the year they end their 75-year wait for a Spanish title.

We say: Sevilla 2-1 Osasuna

There have been plenty of encouraging signs for Sevilla so far this season but extending their title challenge across a full campaign will prove tricky.

If they want to maintain ambitions of a famous La Liga title win, it is wins against the likes of Osasuna that could define their hopes.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.

Valencia vs. Villarreal (Saturday, 5.30pm)

Two sides disappointed with their seasons so far will come head to head on Saturday evening, when Villarreal make the short trip down the West coast of Spain to face Valencia.

Separated by less than an hour, the two are also near-neighbours in the table, with Villarreal one point and one place behind Valencia.

We say: Valencia 1-1 Villarreal

Neither side can really afford another defeat, meaning this encounter will likely see both sides go for the three points.

Ironically, that could see the pair cancel each other out, so do not be surprised to see another stalemate in a season already full of draws for the two.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.

Barcelona vs. Alaves (Saturday, 8.00pm)

Barcelona, who are languishing down in ninth position in the La Liga table, will start life after Ronald Koeman with a clash at home to Alaves on Saturday night.

The Catalan giants sacked Koeman as head coach following Wednesday's 1-0 loss to Rayo Vallecano, and Barcelona B boss Sergi Barjuan has been appointed as first-team manager on an interim basis.

We say: Barcelona 3-1 Alaves

For all of Barcelona's problems this season, there is still so much quality in their squad. Alaves will be feeling good about themselves after successive victories, but we believe that the home side will return to winning ways in relatively routine fashion.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 1.5 goals.
