Laurent Blanc: 'Paris Saint-Germain must be relentless'

Laurent Blanc challenges Paris Saint-Germain to keep up their impressive form after moving 15 points ahead at top of Ligue 1.

Paris Saint-Germain coach Laurent Blanc has urged his team to be relentless in search of points before Christmas.

Les Parisiens are already 15 points clear at the top of Ligue 1 after cruising to a 3-0 win away at Nice.

However, despite their strong start to the campaign, Blanc is demanding more from his players.

He is quoted by Ligue 1's official website as saying: "We couldn't have expected that games in Angers, Nice and Caen would be important matches in December.

"These teams have had a very good first half to the season. The points picked up, especially away from home, will be all the more important.

"We have 45 points after a first half of the season which was far from to our advantage with 11 away games and eight at home. If we manage to increase this points tally in the two games coming up, it will have been a very good first half of the season."

PSG have now taken 16 points from a possible 18 in the league.
