Team News: Caen opt for three strikers in attack against Nice

Struggling Ligue 1 side Caen decide to start three strikers in attack as they welcome Nice to the Stade Michel d'Ornano.

Strikers Mathieu Duhamel, Lenny Nangis and Bangaly-Fode Koita have all been handed the chance to reignite struggling Caen as they face Nice in Ligue 1 this evening.

The 18th-placed side will feature a 4-3-3 formation as they look for a vital three points at home, with midfield support coming from a central three of N'golo Kante, Thomas Lemar and skipper Julien Feret.

Visiting Nice will look to operate with a slightly more conservative attitude away from home, as manager Claude Puel opts for a 4-5-1 formation that sees Alassane Plea starting up top as a lone striker.

Captain Nampalys Mendy is part of a five-man midfield, which also features the creativity of both Eric Bautheac and Carlos Eduardo.

Caen: Vercoutre; Yahia, Imoro, Da Silva, Seube, Kante, Feret, Lemar, Duhamel, Nangis, Koita

Nice: Pouplin; Gomis, Puel, Amavi, Palun, Genevois, Eduardo, Mendy, Rafetraniaina, Bautheac, Plea
