Preview: Newcastle United vs. West Bromwich Albion

Sports Mole previews this weekend's Premier League bout between Newcastle United and West Bromwich Albion.

Newcastle United will be aiming to bring consistency to their campaign this weekend when they welcome West Bromwich Albion to St James' Park.

The North East outfit are looking for just their third win of the season following a mismatched term so far, which has placed them in 11th place in the league table.

Meanwhile, the Baggies sit just one point below fourth place due to their blistering start to the season under new head coach Steve Clarke, who left Liverpool for his first managerial job in the summer.

Newcastle boss Alan Pardew is likely to place Vurnon Anita in midfield due to the absence of Cheik Tiote, who picked up a red card in last weekend's Tyne-Wear derby 1-1 draw.

Clarke could opt for loan signing Romelu Lukaku up front with Peter Odemwingie and Marc-Antoine Fortune providing service from the wide areas.

Current form:

Newcastle: DWDLD

West Brom: LWDWL

Possible lineups:

Newcastle: Krul; Simpson, S.Taylor, Coloccini, Santon; Ben Arfa, Anita, Cabaye, Gutierrez; Cisse, Ba

West Brom: Foster; Tamas, McAuley, Olsson, Ridgewell; Yacob, Mulumbu; Fortune, Morrison, Odemwingie; Lukaku

Sports Mole says: 2-1
