Half-Time Report: Middlesbrough, Nottingham Forest goalless

A cagey first half sees Middlesbrough and Nottingham Forest go into half time with the score at 0-0 in their Championship match.

A cagey first half has seen Middlesbrough and Nottingham Forest go into half time with the score at 0-0 in their Championship match at The Riverside this afternoon.

The game's first chance went Boro's way, with Kike showing great feet before being denied by Karl Darlow.

It was an encouraging opening, but aside from the early chance the first 20 minutes of the match saw little by way of goalscoring opportunities.

Nottingham Forest finally made a few chances for themselves as Chris Burke's deflected shot went just over the crossbar before Michail Antonio came inches away from meeting Ben Osborn's corner.

Darlow then produced a couple of fine saves to deny George Friend just before the break.
