Report: Fernando Muslera to replace David de Gea at Manchester United

A report in Turkey claims that if David de Gea opts to join Real Madrid in the summer, Manchester United will look to replace the goalkeeper by signing Fernando Muslera.

Manchester United have reportedly placed Fernando Muslera at the top of their goalkeeping shortlist.

There have been strong suggestions that the Red Devils will be in the market for a new shot-stopper, with current number one David de Gea tipped to finally complete a switch to Real Madrid at the end of the season.

Should that be the case, United have decided to move for Galatasaray keeper Muslera, according to AMK.

It has been suggested that the Istanbul-based outfit are prepared to listen to offers for the Uruguayan in a bid to ease their financial problems.

Muslera, who is thought to be valued at around £10m, joined Gala from Lazio in 2011.
