A report claims that Paul Pogba is back on Real Madrid's radar ahead of entering the final six months of his Manchester United contract.

Real Madrid are back in the running to sign Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba, according to a report.

The France international was long considered a priority target for the La Liga giants during Zinedine Zidane's time in charge.

That interest has since dwindled, with Paris Saint-Germain and former club Juventus considered the most likely next destination for the 28-year-old.

However, AS suggests that Madrid have been sounding out Pogba for a number of weeks and are very much part of the race to land the World Cup winner.

The Spanish outlet adds that Los Blancos hope signing Pogba could also further convince compatriot Kylian Mbappe to sign from PSG next summer.

Pogba is out of contract at Old Trafford at the end of the season and seems increasingly unlikely to put pen to paper on fresh terms.
