Ex-Spurs midfielder Jamie O'Hara: 'Harry Kane will only consider Man City move'

O'Hara: 'Kane will only consider Man City'

Former Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Jamie O'Hara suggests that Harry Kane may only consider leaving the North London outfit for Manchester City.

Former Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Jamie O'Hara has claimed that Harry Kane may only be interested in a future move to Manchester City.

With Manchester United struggling in the final third and both Barcelona and Real Madrid keen on a new number nine, Kane has been linked with a switch to all three of those clubs.

However, providing that Kane has the ambition to become the all-time top goalscorer in the Premier League, O'Hara feels that the England international would snub a transfer to United and the La Liga giants in favour of Man City.

O'Hara told talkSPORT: "If you are going to go for £200m, are you going to go to Man United? No disrespect to them, even though they've had their great history, Tottenham are probably a better suited squad to where they are going.

"I don't think he'll go to Spain. I think he wants the [Alan] Shearer record, the Premier League all-time scoring record. I think he's going for it and I think he's got a good chance.

"I think if he is going to go it's going to be Man City; it's only Man City, for me, who can probably get him. Aguero is coming to the end and Jesus is a different type of player, so if they are to get somebody it would be Harry Kane."

Kane has netted 130 goals from 187 Premier League appearances for Spurs.
