Team News: West Ham United, Manchester United make five changes apiece

Radamel Falcao is one of five changes for Manchester United for their trip to West Ham United in the Premier League.

Manchester United striker Radamel Falcao has been recalled to the starting lineup for this afternoon's trip to West Ham United.

The Colombian forward is one of five changes made by Louis van Gaal following the midweek triumph over Cambridge United in the FA Cup, with Juan Mata the most noticeable absentee.

Antonio Valencia, Phil Jones, Luke Shaw and Adnan Januzaj have also been brought back into the fold for the Upton Park clash as the Red Devils look to reclaim third place in the Premier League table.

It is a similar story for the hosts, as Sam Allardyce rings the changes with five alterations of his own on the back of last week's defeat at Liverpool.

Carl Jenkinson, James Tomkins, Cheikhou Kouyate, Mark Noble and Diafra Sakho are all handed starts, although Andy Carroll misses out having failed a late fitness test.

Schoolboy Reece Oxford is among the Hammers' substitutes and will become the club's youngest ever player should be called upon.

West Ham United XI: Adrian, Jenkinson, Tomkins, Kouyate, Cresswell, Song, Noble, Nolan, Downing, Sakho, Valencia
Subs: Jaaskelainen, O'Brien, Oxford, Amalfitano, Jarvis, Cole, Lee

Manchester United XI: De Gea, Valencia, Jones, Rojo, Shaw, Blind, Rooney, Januzaj, Di Maria, Falcao, van Persie
Subs: Valdes, McNair, Smalling, Herrera, Mata, Fellaini, Wilson
