Team News: Paul Pogba starts for Manchester United at Newcastle United

Paul Pogba returns to Manchester United's starting XI for Sunday's Premier League clash at Newcastle United.

Paul Pogba has been named in Manchester United's starting XI for Sunday's Premier League clash at Newcastle United.

The Frenchman was on the bench for the Red Devils' 2-0 win over Huddersfield Town last time out.

However, Jose Mourinho has opted to reinstate Pogba, with Phil Jones, Ashley Young and Anthony Martial also starting at St James' Park.

Juan Mata, Marcos Rojo, Scott McTominay and Luke Shaw all make way but are all named among the substitutes.

Newcastle boss Rafael Benitez, meanwhile, has made two changes from the 1-1 draw with Crystal Palace last weekend.

January signing Martin Dubravka is named in goal in place of the benched Karl Darlow and Florian Lejeune starts at the back instead of Ciaran Clark.

On-loan forward Islam Slimani, meanwhile, is not in the matchday squad as he remains out with an injury.

Newcastle United: Dubravka; Yedlin, Lascelles, Lejeune, Dummett; Ritchie, Shelvey, Diame, Kenedy; Perez, Gayle
Subs: Darlow, Manquillo, Hayden, Merino, Atsu, Murphy, Joselu

Manchester United: De Gea; Valencia, Smalling, Jones, Young; Matic, Pogba; Sanchez, Lingard, Martial; Lukaku
Subs: Romero, Lindelof, Roko, Shaw, Carrick, McTominay, Mata
