Manchester United's players are reportedly unhappy with interim manager Ralf Rangnick's training methods at Old Trafford.

Manchester United's players have reportedly complained about the training methods of interim manager Ralf Rangnick at Old Trafford.

The German boss arrived at United on a temporary basis back in November following the sacking of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, and has endured a mixed time in charge so far.

Rangnick has overseen 12 matches during his tenure, losing once in the Premier League, and whilst also being knocked out of the FA Cup by Middlesbrough on penalties.

Performances have arguably remained below the expected standards at the Red Devils, and now according to ESPN, some of United's players are questioning their manager's methods on the training ground.

The report states how some members of the squad are confused as to why assistant manager Chris Armas leads most of the sessions, as well as Rangnick's 'old-fashioned' methods when he does get involved.

Further details suggest that some are unhappy with the amount of focus being placed on organisational skills and shape.

Following their 1-1 draw at Burnley in midweek, United prepare to face Southampton at Old Trafford on Saturday afternoon.
