Daniel James insists that Manchester United are still capable of reaching the top four this season.

Daniel James has insisted that Manchester United are still capable of reaching the top four this season.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's men have enjoyed a minor resurgence of sorts in recent times, winning six games in December across all competitions.

However, a recent 2-0 defeat to Arsenal at the Emirates has left United five points adrift of fourth spot in the Premier League and 27 behind leaders Liverpool.

Speaking to the club's official website, James said: "I want to win trophies. We want to win the League Cup, get as far as we can in the FA Cup and, with the Premier League, we just need to keep winning games.

"We want to get into that top four and I think we're very capable of doing that."

United begin their FA Cup campaign today with a trip to Molineux to face Wolverhampton Wanderers, who knocked the Red Devils out at the quarter-final stage last term.
