Wes Brown tips Paul Pogba to stay put at Manchester United

Former Manchester United defender Wes Brown believes that Paul Pogba will stay put at Manchester United this season and express himself more for the Red Devils.

Former Manchester United defender Wes Brown has suggested that Paul Pogba will stay put at Old Trafford this season amid reported interest from elsewhere.

The France international left Juventus to move back to United in 2016 and has scored a total of 15 goals in 88 appearances in all competitions.

However, Pogba continues to be linked with a move away from the 20-time English champions after two mixed seasons and reports of fallouts with manager Jose Mourinho.

Barcelona are believed to be interested in the 25-year-old, who won the World Cup with France this summer, while Juve have also been linked with their former player.

"Pogba came back to United with this great expectation, that he had to show the world how good he is straight away," Brown told The Express.

"A lot of pressure comes with that. With that out of the way he's coming good though we all know he can do even better.

"This season, especially after the World Cup that he's had, he's going to start expressing himself a lot more."

Pogba still has three years remaining on his United contract.
