Manchester United team news: Injury, suspension list vs. Everton

Sports Mole rounds up Manchester United's latest injury and suspension news ahead of Saturday's Premier League clash with Everton.

Manchester United travel to Goodison Park on Saturday to face a high-flying Everton side off the back to two straight defeats.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's men were beaten by Istanbul Basaksehir in the Champions League on Wednesday night, following up their disappointing 1-0 reverse to Arsenal last weekend.

The Red Devils subsequently sit 15th in the Premier League table with only seven points from their six outings so far, but they take on an Everton side that has also lost their last two following a bright start to the campaign.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up all of Manchester United's latest injury and suspension news ahead of the contest.

Victor Lindelof

Status: Minor doubt
Type of injury: Back
Possible return date: November 7 (vs. Everton)

Victor Lindelof was among the subs in Istanbul on Wednesday night, but was left on the bench throughout - even when Scott McTominay was needed to replace Axel Tuanzebe at half time for tactical reasons. Lindelof has a minor back injury, but should be in contention for this match.

Phil Jones

Status: Out
Type of injury: Knee
Possible return date: Unknown

Phil Jones is not expected back until next month at the earliest due to a long-term knee problem, although he has been left out of the club's Premier League squad anyway.

Eric Bailly

Status: Out
Type of injury: Muscle
Possible return date: November 21 (vs. West Bromwich Albion)

Eric Bailly is unlikely to feature until after this month's international break as he continues to recover from a muscle problem - the latest in a long list of injuries which have affected his Manchester United career.

Jesse Lingard

Status: Major doubt
Type of injury: Unspecified
Possible return date: November 7 (vs. Everton)

Jesse Lingard is now back in training and only narrowly missed out on being part of the travelling party for the trip to Istanbul, so he could be back in contention for this one.

Alex Telles

Status: Major doubt
Type of injury: Coronavirus
Possible return date: November 7 (vs. Everton)

Alex Telles is now back available after recovering from a positive coronavirus test, although he is still highly unlikely to start this match having only returned to training since Wednesday's match.

MANCHESTER UNITED'S SUSPENSION LIST

Manchester United have no players suspended for this match, with Anthony Martial free to return having now served his three-match domestic ban.
