Thursday's Europa League predictions including AC Milan vs. Manchester United

Sports Mole provides score predictions for all of Thursday's Europa League last 16 second legs, including AC Milan vs. Manchester United.

Dinamo Zagreb vs. Spurs (Thursday, 5.55pm)

Tottenham Hotspur head to the Croatian capital on Thursday evening for the second leg of their Europa League last-16 tie with Dinamo Zagreb.

Spurs will take a 2-0 lead into the match at Stadion Maksimir thanks to Harry Kane's double in last week's reverse fixture.

We say: Dinamo Zagreb 0-2 (0-4 on agg.) Tottenham Hotspur

One goal for Tottenham on Thursday will leave Zagreb requiring at least four to progress.

The home side have a good defensive record, but they have been rocked by the news of manager Mamic being sent to jail and we cannot see past an away victory.

Our tipster partners are predicting a double chance bet on a home win or an away win.

Shakhtar vs. Roma (Thursday, 5.55pm)

Last season's beaten semi-finalists Shakhtar Donetsk must produce a minor miracle in Kiev this Thursday, as they trail by three goals against Roma from the first leg of their Europa League last-16 tie.

Led by former Shakhtar coach Paulo Fonseca, the ambitious Giallorossi are aiming to reach the competition's quarter-finals for the first time, by finishing off the job they started in Rome last week.

We say: Shakhtar Donetsk 2-1 Roma

Despite some fairly wild inconsistencies in recent months, Shakhtar have proven their pedigree at the elite level of European competition by beating Real Madrid and effectively eliminating Roma's domestic rivals Inter.

Unfortunately for Luis Castro's side, their first leg deficit is just too great for them to overturn against Roma this week, so the Giallorossi can seal progress on aggregate to reach the Europa League final eight for the very first time.

Our tipster partners are predicting a double chance bet on a home win or an away win.

Arsenal vs. Olympiacos (Thursday, 5.55pm)

Arsenal will hope to ease into the quarter-finals of the Europa League when they welcome Olympiacos to the Emirates Stadium for the second leg of their last-16 battle.

Goals from Martin Odegaard, Gabriel and Mohamed Elneny saw the hosts ease to a 3-1 win in the first leg, but Olympiacos know a thing or two about causing shocks at the Emirates.

We say: Arsenal 2-1 Olympiacos

Arsenal had only managed to triumph 1-0 in Greece last season before their humiliating exit, so a 3-1 advantage will certainly give Arteta's side the confidence needed to get the job done on home soil, especially after a dominant North London derby win. Martins will hope to rally his troops and convince them that they are capable of another Emirates shock, but an in-form Arsenal should be too strong for the visitors - despite some expected rotation - and we are backing Arteta's men to book their spot in the quarter-finals with minimal trouble.

Our tipster partners are predicting a home win.

Molde vs. Granada (Thursday, 5.55pm)

Molde and Granada, the two lowest-ranked clubs remaining in the Europa League, reconvene at the Puskas Arena in Budapest on Thursday for the second leg of their last-16 tie.

The Spanish club lead 2-0 from last week's reverse fixture thanks to goals from Jorge Molina and Roberto Soldado, either side of Martin Ellingsen's red card for Molde.

We say: Molde 0-1 Granada (0-3 on aggregate)

After doing the hard work in the first leg, one goal on Thursday should be enough to see Granada book a place in Friday's quarter-final draw - an incredible achievement.

The Spanish side have kept a clean sheet in back-to-back games, whereas Molde have the worst defensive record of the teams still left in the Europa League, so we are tipping them to get the job done.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 1.5 goals.

Young Boys vs. Ajax (Thursday, 8.00pm)

Ajax travel to Young Boys on Thursday evening looking to seal their spot in the Europa League quarter-finals.

Three second-half goals in last week's first leg have put the Dutch giants in full control ahead of the reverse fixture at the Wankdorf Stadium.

We say: Young Boys 2-1 Ajax

Given the size of the task in front of them, Young Boys will naturally throw caution to the wind on Thursday evening. However, it is unrealistic to expect Ajax to go the full 90 minutes without finding an away goal that would effectively end this tie as a contest.

Our tipster partners are predicting a double chance bet on a home win or an away win.

Villarreal vs. Dynamo Kiev (Thursday, 8.00pm)

Villarreal boast a 2-0 lead over Dynamo Kiev heading into Thursday's Europa League last-16 second leg at Estadio de la Ceramica.

Pau Torres poked in a first-half opener and Raul Albiol netted on his 100th European appearance to give the Spanish side a commanding two-goal advantage.

We say: Villarreal 2-1 Dynamo Kiev (4-1 on agg)

Dynamo Kiev have been in good form over the past two months, but last week's two-goal loss on home soil has left them with it all to do in this return leg.

Villarreal are no strangers to competing in the latter stages of this competition and have won five in a row on the continent, so we are backing them to ease through.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 1.5 goals.

AC Milan vs. Man Utd (Thursday, 8.00pm)

AC Milan's Simon Kjaer celebrates scoring against Manchester United in the Europa League on March 11, 2021© Reuters

AC Milan and Manchester United prepare to renew hostilities in the second leg of their Europa League last-16 battle at San Siro on Thursday evening.

The two sides played out a 1-1 draw in the first leg at Old Trafford, as Amad Diallo's intelligent header was cancelled out by Simon Kjaer's late equaliser for Milan.

We say: AC Milan 1-2 Manchester United

On paper, Milan's home woes and United's away day delights should see the Red Devils march to a convincing success, but coming out on top at San Siro is not quite as simple as that. With both teams set to welcome key players back from injury who missed the first leg, a fierce and pulsating showdown is set to occur this week, and the hosts do have the advantage of an away goal.

However, the expected return of Cavani will give United an added dimension to their attack, and while Milan should be able to call upon Ibrahimovic for some inspiration, we are backing Solskjaer's men to book their spot in the quarter-finals.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 1.5 goals.

Rangers vs. Slavia Prague (Thursday, 8.00pm)

Scottish Premiership champions Rangers host Slavia Prague in the second leg of their Europa League last-16 tie on Thursday night, hoping to progress to the quarter-finals for the first time in 13 years.

The clash at Ibrox is perfectly poised for another entertaining encounter between two sides who both remain undefeated in their respective leagues this season.

We say: Rangers 2-1 Slavia Prague

Slavia Prague have proved in recent seasons that they can compete against stronger opposition and are set to make it another difficult evening for Rangers this Thursday.

However, after having the weekend off, the Gers will be well rested and fully prepared for this clash at Ibrox, where they have been formidable throughout this campaign.

A tight encounter is to be expected, one that could even go to extra time, but Gerrard's men should have enough quality to edge themselves into the quarter-finals.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.
