Manchester City are reportedly leading the race to sign Gremio forward Everton during the summer transfer window.

Manchester City have reportedly emerged as the favourites to sign Gremio forward Everton.

Pep Guardiola is not short of options in the final third, and Sergio Aguero and Gabriel Jesus are currently at the Spaniard's disposal in attack.

However, according to The Sun, City are keen to reach an agreement with Gremio as they look to secure the signature of Everton.

The report claims that the 23-year-old possesses a release clause of £90m, but the Brazilian outfit may be willing to do business for half of that figure.

Everton - who still has three years remaining on his contract - has earned four caps for his national side after making his international debut last year.
