Kevin De Bruyne and Vincent Kompany drop to the Manchester City bench for their trip to West Bromwich Albion.

Kevin De Bruyne and Vincent Kompany have dropped to the Manchester City bench for their trip to West Bromwich Albion this afternoon.

In all, manager Pep Guardiola makes three changes to the side that could only draw 1-1 with Southampton last time out as he looks to arrest a run of six games without a win - the Citizens' worst streak in eight years.

De Bruyne suffered a calf injury against the Saints so is given a cautious seat on the bench, while Leroy Sane drops out of the matchday squad altogether.

Guardiola continues to play three at the back, with Nicolas Otamendi joining John Stones and Aleksandar Kolarov behind Fernando in a holding role.

Sergio Aguero leads the line, with support from Raheem Sterling, David Silva and the returning Nolito.

Elsewhere, Pablo Zabaleta once again misses out on the matchday squad as he continues to recover from a foot problem.

For the hosting Baggies, manager Tony Pulis makes two changes to the side that suffered defeat at Liverpool last weekend.

Jonny Evans, returning from suspension, comes into the middle of the park alongside Chris Brunt as Matt Phillips drops to the bench and Claudio Yacob misses out due to suspension.

West Bromwich Albion: Foster; Dawson, McAuley, Olsson, Nyom; Chadli, Fletcher, Evans, Brunt, McClean; Rondon
Subs: Myhill; Robson-kanu, Morrison, Gardner, Phillips, Galloway, Leko

Manchester City: Bravo; Stones, Otamendi, Kolarov; Fernando, Fernandinho, Gundogan; Silva, Sterling, Nolito; Aguero
