Points shared between Lorient, Bastia

Lorient and Bastia draw 1-1 in Ligue 1 with the home side unable to hold on to their first-half lead.

Lorient and Bastia have played out a tight 1-1 draw at the Stade du Moustoir in Ligue 1.

Djibril Cisse was causing a lot of problems for the home defence early on, as his right-footed effort from just outside the box missed the far post by just a yard or two.

The hosts came back into the game and Kevin Monnet-Paquet set up Vincent Aboubakar with a sweeping cross, but the latter put his shot over the bar.

A few minutes later Romaric tested Florent Chaigneau in the home goal with a low strike.

Lorient broke the deadlock in the 35th minute when Bruno Ecuele Manga reacted quickest to a Yann Jouffre to turn the ball in from close range.

However, shortly after the restart the away side were back on level terms. It was a through-ball that allowed Gianni Bruno to take his time and pick his spot with a low finish.

Wahbi Khazri had a great chance with a header to take all three points for the visitors, but his header from Ryad Boudebouz's cross failed to test Chaigneau.
