Liverpool agree fee for teenage goalkeeper Kamil Grabara

Liverpool agree an initial £250,000 fee for highly-rated teenage goalkeeper Kamil Grabara.

Liverpool have agreed a fee to sign teenage goalkeeper Kamil Grabara from Ruch Chorzow.

The 17-year-old travelled to Liverpool's Melwood training base on Wednesday to undergo a medical and finalise terms on a switch that will cost the Reds an initial £250,000.

The likes of Manchester United and Manchester City have been credited with an interest in the highly-rated teen, but Liverpool have now won the race to his signature.

Grabara, a Poland Under-17 international, is expected to go straight into the academy at the club before advancing through the youth ranks.

The keeper is Liverpool's second signing of the day after they also clinched the signature of 19-year-old Marko Grujic on a four-and-a-half-year deal for more than £5m.
