Phil Foden and Gabriel Jesus both return to Manchester City's starting lineup for their Premier League title showdown against Liverpool at the Etihad Stadium on Sunday.

Phil Foden and Gabriel Jesus have both returned to Manchester City's starting lineup for their Premier League title showdown against Liverpool at the Etihad Stadium on Sunday.

The Citizens will be looking to move four points clear at the top of the table with a victory against Jurgen Klopp's side, who have won each of their last 10 league matches.

Pep Guardiola has made three changes in total to the side which started against Atletico Madrid in the Champions League on Tuesday, with Kyle Walker also returning to the first XI.

After serving a European suspension in midweek, Walker is brought back in to start at right-back, joining John Stones, Aymeric Laporte and Joao Cancelo in the back four, with Nathan Ake the defender who drops to the substitutes' bench.

Rodri keeps his place as the sole pivot, with playmakers Kevin De Bruyne and Bernardo Silva joining the Spaniard in centre-midfield.

Foden – who has scored in each of his three Premier League appearances against Liverpool – will join Jesus and former Liverpool man Raheem Sterling in the front three.

Jack Grealish, Riyad Mahrez, Ilkay Gundogan, Fernandinho and Oleksandr Zinchenko are among the City substitutes this afternoon.
