Half-Time Report: Carlos Tevez double gives Juventus lead against Parma

The home side fashioned their first chances of the game after five minutes, but Andrea Pirlo's free kick and Arturo Vidal's cross failed to cause too much trouble.

On the quarter-hour mark, Parma caused the home defence problems when Cristian Molinaro came up against Gianluigi Buffon, but he wasn't able to capitalise.

The Old Lady soon broke the deadlock when, in the 25th minute, Carlos Tevez picked up the ball, beat two opposition players and lashed a shot into the net past goalkeeper Antonio Mirante.

The Argentine, who used to play for Manchester United and Manchester City, got his second just seven minutes later to put him at the top of the Serie A scorers' standings.
