Danny Swanson makes his debut for the club after joining on Wednesday following his release by Coventry City.

Sean McKirdy is handed his first start and Sam Nicholson is also brought in to replace Morgaro Gomis, who is absent due to a family bereavement, while Jamie Walker and Billy King both drop to the substitutes' bench.

Callum Paterson continues at left-back for the visitors after his red card in the defeat to Hamilton Academical was rescinded.

For the hosts, winless in the first eight games this season in all competitions, Josh Meekings, Miles Storey and James Vincent replace Iain Vigurs, Dani Lopez and the suspended Andrea Mbuyi-Mutombo.
