Team News: Anthony Stokes left out of Celtic squad

Celtic manager Ronny Deila omits forward Anthony Stokes from his matchday squad to face Inverness Caledonian Thistle.

Ronny Deila has omitted forward Anthony Stokes from Celtic's matchday squad for this afternoon's Scottish Premiership clash against Inverness Caledonian Thistle.

The Republic of Ireland international has only featured once for the Hoops this term, and his latest absence has forced him to hit out at boss Deila in the build-up to the match.

Elsewhere, Stefan Johansen and Nir Bitton have both been restored to the starting lineup after missing the midweek Europa League defeat to Ajax through suspension, while Tom Rogic is also selected in midfield.

Celtic, without the services of the injured Charlie Mulgrew today, can also call upon Carlton Cole from the bench should they need to.

In terms of the home side, they have six-goal striker Miles Storey up top, who will be aiming to score for the third game on the bounce this afternoon.

Inverness Caledonian Thistle: Fon Williams, Meekings, Warren, Devine, Williams, Tansey, Draper, Polworth, Vincent, Vigurs, Storey
Subs: Esson, Raven, Wedderburn, Horner, Sho-Silva, Mbuyi-Mutombo

Celtic: Gordon; Lustig, Boyata, Simunovic, Tierney; Bitton, Johansen; McGregor, Rogic, Armstrong; Griffiths
Subs: Bailly, Izaguirre, Ambrose, Ciftci, Mackay-Steven, Allan, Cole
