Robert Koren out for up to five weeks

Hull City's Robert Koren will be out for four to five weeks with a fractured foot.

Hull City captain Robert Koren has been ruled out for up to five weeks with a fractured foot, the club have confirmed.

Manager Steve Bruce said that Koren has been playing through the injury for two weeks, but that a scan has now revealed further damage.

"He did it a couple of weeks ago and to be fair he's played with it," Bruce told the Hull Daily Mail.

"But last Saturday it was worse and so we scanned it and X-rayed it and those have revealed a hairline fracture to one of the bones in his foot."

Koren joined Hull from West Bromwich Albion in 2010.
