Sports Mole previews Tuesday's Championship clash between Huddersfield Town and Nottingham Forest at the John Smith's campaign.

Huddersfield Town welcome Nottingham Forest to the John Smith's Stadium on Tuesday looking to get their Championship campaign up and running.

Simon Grayson's side, who secured promotion via the League One playoffs last season, began their campaign with a 1-0 defeat to Cardiff City, although the manner of their performance would have handed the club confidence that they can compete in this division.

Meanwhile, Nottingham Forest, with new owners in tandem, began their season with a 1-0 victory over Bristol City and will look to improve on their run of just four wins in 22 games against Huddersfield.

The last time the two sides met came four years ago, when they shared the points in a 1-1 draw in League One.

The home side have thus far managed to keep hold of the much-coveted Jordan Rhodes, and he is expected to start on Tuesday with Keith Southern dropping to the bench.

Meanwhile, Forest are expected to remain unchanged with Andy Reid continuing on the left side of midfield once more.

Possible lineups:

Huddersfield Town: Smithies; Dixon, Clarke, Hunt, Lynch; Norwood, Clayton, Arfield, Scannell; Novak, Rhodes

Nottingham Forest: Camp, Maloney, Halford, Collins, Harding; McGugan, Guedioura, Gillett, Reid; Majewski; Blackstock

Sports Mole says: 2-1
