Huddersfield Town manager David Wagner believes that his side's 2-1 win over West Bromwich Albion 'had a bit of everything', having dug deep to claim all three points.

David Wagner has lavished praise on his Huddersfield Town players following Saturday's 2-1 win away at bottom side West Bromwich Albion.

The Terriers came away from The Hawthorns with all three points thanks to second-half goals from Rajiv van La Parra and Steve Mounie, lifting them three clear of the dropzone.

Wagner was particularly pleased with the way his side upped things following an abject showing in the opening 45 minutes, as Town earned back-to-back victories in the Premier League for the first time since the opening month of the season.

"I think the best thing is that we have shown everything you have to show in these games - commitment, fighting spirit, togetherness," he told reporters at his post-match press conference.

"In some moments [West Brom] showed decent football, as well. It was a deserved result and we had the best opportunities. We got a little bit lucky in the first half when West Brom had a good opportunity at the end.

"But I am delighted and proud of the players. They have shown their momentum. It is a great win for us. I said to them that we weren't really satisfied with the first half.

"We made too many errors and looked nervous. We cannot wait for the whistle for fouls, we have to work and fight. They did that better in the second half."

Huddersfield return to action next weekend with a trip to face Tottenham Hotspur at Wembley Stadium.
