Hibernian manager Neil Lennon is hit with a three-game touchline ban following his dismissal in the 2-2 draw away at Kilmarnock on February 24.

Hibernian manager Neil Lennon has been hit with a three-game touchline ban following his recent dismissal at Kilmarnock.

The 46-year-old was cited for misconduct by the Scottish Football Association for his actions during the 2-2 draw at Rugby Park on February 24.

Lennon, who was unhappy with a penalty call against Hibs, reacted angrily to his sending-off and later criticised referee Kevin Clancy and the standard of officiating in Scotland.

As well as the three-game ban, a further two-match suspension will be imposed if the Northern Irishman breaches the misconduct rules again this season.

Lennon will now miss the Scottish Premiership trip to St Johnstone on Friday, as well as home games against Partick Thistle and Hamilton Academical.
