Reims hold Evian Thonon Gaillard to a 2-2 draw away from home despite going down to 10 men after 15 minutes.

Evian Thonon Gaillard have been held to a 2-2 draw by Reims at home in Ligue 1 despite playing most of the match with a one-man advantage.

Floyd Ayite put Reims ahead at Parc des Sports in the 12th minute when he latched onto Antoine Devaux's through-ball and shot home from outside the box.

However, Ayite got himself sent off just three minutes later for a dangerous challenge on Milos Ninkovic.

That gave Evian the advantage to get back into the game and despite creating a number of chances through Youssef Adnane, Saber Khelifa and Daniel Wass among others, failed to register a goal during the rest of the first half.

It was Reims who scored the second goal of the match midway through the second half, Gaetan Courtet heading home Christopher Glombard's cross from just yards out.

Evian halved the deficit just moments later when Yannick Sagbo headed in Kevin Berigaud's cross, and they completed the comeback in the third minute of injury time through Clarck N'Sikulu.
