How Everton could line up against Brighton & Hove Albion

Sports Mole looks at how Everton could line up in Saturday's Premier League clash with Brighton & Hove Albion.

Everton will be looking to make it back-to-back Premier League wins for the first time this season when they travel to Brighton & Hove Albion on Saturday afternoon.

The Toffees lost four straight league fixtures between September 15 and October 5 before returning to winning ways last weekend, beating West Ham United 2-0 at Goodison Park.

A disappointing start to the season has left Marco Silva's side in 15th position in the table, but the Merseyside giants are only two points off seventh spot ahead of Week 10 in England's top flight.

Here, Sports Mole looks at how Everton could line up when they take to the field against Graham Potter's side this weekend.


POSS EVE XI vs. BRI

Doubtful: Cenk Tosun (groin), Morgan Schneiderlin (knock), Yerry Mina (knee), Fabian Delph (thigh)

Summer arrival Jean-Philippe Gbamin remains a long-term absentee with a thigh problem, while there are doubts over the involvement of Cenk Tosun, Morgan Schneiderlin and Fabian Delph heading into Saturday's contest.

Yerry Mina could also miss out with the knee problem that he picked up against West Ham, although the Colombia international is expected to shake off the issue to start alongside Michael Keane.

It would not be a surprise to see Silva go with the same XI that started against the Hammers, meaning that Theo Walcott and Tom Davies would keep their spots, leaving the likes of Gylfi Sigurdsson and Moise Kean on the bench.

That said, Seamus Coleman is available once again following a one-match suspension, and it seems likely that the Republic of Ireland international will return to the side at the expense of Djibril Sidibe.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin is another option in the final third of the field, although Richarlison could keep his spot at the tip of the attack.
