Peter Ramage hopeful Crystal Palace can keep Premier League spot

Peter Ramage is confident that Crystal Palace can stay in the Premier League as they prepare to embark on their first season back in the top flight.

Crystal Palace defender Peter Ramage believes that he and his teammates are capable of keeping the club in the Premier League.

The Eagles begin their first season back in the top flight with fixtures against Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United in their first six games.

"We've got as good a chance as any other team that's gone up," Sky Sports News quotes Ramage as saying. "Everyone expects the three that have come up to go down.

"You've got to take every game as it comes, go out and put in performances and as long as that's good enough for the supporters and manager, hopefully that will be good enough to get you the result on the day.

"It's going to be tough. We are under no illusions because there are no easy games. But hopefully we can pick up results and stay in the division."

Ramage signed a new two-year contract at Selhurst Park last month.
