Lazio could move for Chelsea midfielder Ruben Loftus-Cheek this summer, according to a report.

Lazio are reportedly interested in signing Chelsea midfielder Ruben Loftus-Cheek during this summer's transfer window.

The 26-year-old has been a regular for the Blues during the 2021-22 campaign, making 31 appearances in all competitions, contributing four assists in the process.

Loftus-Cheek still has more than two years left to run on his contract at Stamford Bridge, but there remains uncertainty surrounding his long-term future in the English capital.

According to Corriere dello Sport, Lazio will move for a new midfielder in the upcoming market, as they prepare to let Sergej Milinkovic-Savic leave, with the Serbian thought to be a target for both Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain.

The report claims that Loftus-Cheek is 'very much liked' by Lazio boss Maurizio Sarri, although the England international would have to be prepared to take a pay cut to move to Italy.

The Italian outfit would also allegedly be keen to sign the midfielder on an initial loan deal with the option to make it permanent in 2023.

Loftus-Cheek has scored 12 times and contributed 15 assists in 113 appearances for Chelsea since debuting for the Premier League club in 2014.
