Team News: Aston Villa make two changes for Chelsea clash

Eric Black names his first side since taking charge of Aston Villa on an interim basis.

Aston Villa caretaker manager Eric Black has made two changes to the team's starting XI for his first match at the helm, this afternoon's home meeting with Chelsea.

Villans captain Micah Richards returns to the rearguard in place of Ciaran Clark, while Carlos Sanchez is preferred to Jordan Veretout in the midfield.

Chelsea have made four changes for the trip to Villa, including a debut for American Matt Miazga at centre-back, in the absence of John Terry and Gary Cahill.

Baba Rahman, Pedro and Ruben Loftus-Cheek have also been brought in, while Oscar and Willian miss out.

Striker Radamel Falcao returns from a lengthy spell on the sidelines to take up a place on the bench, where he is joined by fellow attacker Alexandre Pato.

Aston Villa: Guzan; Hutton, Richards, Lescott, Cissokho; Sanchez, Westwood, Gana; Gil, Gestede, Ayew
Subs: Okore, Bacuna, Sinclair, Veretout, Bunn, Lyden, Grealish

Chelsea: Courtois; Azpilicueta, Ivanovic, Miazga, Baba; Mikel, Fabregas; Pedro, Loftus-Cheek, Kenedy; Remy
Subs: Begovic, Jake Clarke-Salter, Matic, Oscar, Traore, Pato, Falcao
