Juan Mata: 'Aston Villa will be tough'

Chelsea midfielder Juan Mata believes that Aston Villa will provide a tough test when the teams meet in the Premier League tonight.

Chelsea midfielder Juan Mata has claimed that Aston Villa will provide a tough test when the teams meet at Stamford Bridge in the Premier League tonight (Wednesday).

The Blues saw off Hull City 2-0 in their opening game of the season on the weekend, while Villa earned a 3-1 win at Arsenal.

"We knew they were a very good team [before they beat Arsenal]," Mata told the club's official website. "They're a very compact team, very young and fresh so it will be a tough game for us for sure."

Mata was an unused substitute for Chelsea's win over Hull.
