Preview: Catania vs. Lazio

Sports Mole previews this weekend's Serie A clash between Catania and Lazio.

Bottom-of-the-league Catania could climb out of the relegation zone if they beat Lazio in their Serie A match this Sunday.

The Rossazzurri are two points away from 17th-placed Chievo and will be looking to take advantage of tough fixtures for the teams surrounding them in the table.

It has been six games since they won in the league, but last weekend's goalless draw with Parma stretched their unbeaten run to three matches.

Lazio also drew a blank last weekend in their draw against Roma, but have not tasted defeat in the league under manager Edoardo Reja.

A win for the Biancocelesti could lift them up to seventh in the table, and see them move to within one point of fifth-placed Inter Milan.

Sergio Almiron, Sebastian Leto and Alberto Frison are all injured for Catania, while the visitors are without Honorato Ederson and Helder Postiga.
