Sports Mole looks at how Brighton & Hove Albion could line up against Southampton in Sunday's Premier League clash.

Brighton & Hove Albion boss Graham Potter has a number of injury issues to contend with for his side's huge showdown with Southampton at St Mary's Stadium on Sunday.

Full-back Tariq Lamptey was this week ruled out for the rest of the campaign, only adding to Potter's selection headache as the Seagulls look to end a three-game losing run.

Lamptey, who has not featured since before Christmas, is joined on the sidelines by Jose Izquierdo, Florin Andone, Solly March and Adam Webster.

However, there could be better news in terms of Aaron Connolly's fitness after the striker missed the clash with Leicester City through a back injury.

Even if Connolly is fit, though, Potter is expected to go with the same midfield and attack that started the 2-1 loss to Leicester last weekend.

That would mean Adam Lallana starting against his former side, with Leandro Trossard, Pascal Gross and Alexis Mac Allister also providing support for Neal Maupay.

Lallana's goal against Leicester was his first in the Premier League in 503 days, though he has not found the net in back-to-back league games since December 2016.

Brighton possible starting lineup: Sanchez; Veltman, White, Dunk, Burn; Mac Allister, Bissouma, Gross; Trossard, Lallana; Maupay
