Team News: Bolton Wanderers make two changes for visit of Brentford

Bolton Wanderers make two changes to the side to face Brentford at the Macron Stadium.

Bolton Wanderers manager Neil Lennon has made two changes to his side for tonight's visit of Brentford at the Macron Stadium.

Max Clayton has come into the attacking fold, sitting just behind Shola Ameobi, while Jay Spearing has been dropped to the bench.

In defence, Dorian Dervite will start, meaning that Prince-Desir Gouano has been left out of the starting lineup.

Meanwhile, the visitors, who announced this afternoon that Dean Smith has been appointed new manager, have made just the one change as Jack O'Connell comes in for the suspended Harlee Dean.

The defender is banned for tonight's match as he was sent off in Brentford's 2-1 victory over Nottingham Forest on November 21.

Bolton Wanderers: Amos; Vela, Dervite, Wheater, Casado; Feeney, Davies, Danns, Pratley; Clayton; Ameobi
Subs: Rachubka, Gouano, Spearing, Madine, Dobbie, Twardzik, Holding

Brentford: Button; Bidwell, Tarkowski, O'Connell, Yennaris; Woods, Diagourago, McCormack; Judge, Vibe, Swift
Subs: Bonham, Saunders, Hofmann, Kerschbaumer, Gogia, Barbet, Canos
