Scott Wiseman scores an own goal as Blackpool claim a 1-0 victory Barnsley at Bloomfield Road.

An injury-time own goal from Scott Wiseman gifted Blackpool a late victory over Barnsley at Bloomfield Road.

Isaiah Osbourne and David Perkins both shot wide as the home side started the game brightly.

Barnsley debutant Michael Chopra had the best scoring opportunity of the first half, but he could only pull his shot wide when well placed.

In the second half Jason Scotland had a chance to score for the hosts but his strike from outside the box was saved by Barnsley keeper Matt Gilks.

Blackpool scored the winning goal in injury time when Jack Robinson's long throw into the box caused Barnsley problems, and the ball came off Wiseman and went into his own net.
