Preview: Borussia Monchengladbach vs. Bayern Munich

Sports Mole previews Borussia Monchengladbach's home tie against Bayern Munich in the Bundesliga.

The second half of the Bundesliga season gets underway on Friday evening with Borussia Monchengladbach taking on Bayern Munich at Borussia-Park.

Gladbach won eight and drew one of their nine home games in the first half of the season, but they will face their toughest test yet when Bayern come to town.

The visitors are currently seven points clear at the top of the Bundesliga with a game in hand, and are yet to taste defeat in the league under new coach Pep Guardiola.

Gladbach could be unchanged from their last league encounter with no injury concerns over the winter break, which would mean Max Kruse and Raffael continuing up front.

Bayern vice captain Bastian Schweinsteiger has recently returned to full training, but Guardiola could stick with Philipp Lahm in midfield.
