PSG team news: Injury, suspension list for Champions League final

Sports Mole rounds up Paris Saint-Germain's injury and suspension news ahead of Sunday's Champions League final.

Paris Saint-Germain secured a spot in the Champions League final for the first time in their history courtesy of a 3-0 win over RB Leipzig in the semi-finals of the competition on Tuesday night.

Marquinhos, Angel Di Maria and Juan Bernat scored the goals for the French champions, who will be desperate to land their first ever European Cup in Sunday's final.

Thomas Tuchel's side will take on either Bayern Munich or Lyon at the weekend, with the two teams set to lock horns in the competition's second semi-final on Wednesday night.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up PSG's injury and suspension news ahead of the clash.

Keylor Navas

Status: Minor doubt
Type of injury: Hamstring
Possible return date: August 23 (vs. Bayern/Lyon)

Navas picked up a hamstring injury during PSG's quarter-final with Atalanta BC and was subsequently forced to miss the semi-final. The Costa Rica international remains a doubt for Sunday's contest, but various reports in France have suggested that the club's number one goalkeeper will return for the final.

PSG'S SUSPENSION LIST

At this stage, PSG have no players suspended, but Neymar could yet face a ban as the Brazilian appeared to break UEFA's coronavirus protocols at the end of Tuesday's semi-final against Leipzig by swapping shirts with Marcel Halstenberg. The attacker could now theoretically face a period of self-isolation.
