Barcelona president Joan Laporta is not prepared to consider Ronald Koeman's future at the club until the end of the season, according to a report.

Recently-appointed Barcelona president Joan Laporta has no plans to sack current manager Ronald Koeman, according to a report.

The former Netherlands boss is yet to win over the entire Blaugrana fanbase, and the Catalan giants have been linked with Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta and RB Leipzig's Julian Nagelsmann as they look ahead to another spell under Laporta.

Speculation over Koeman's Camp Nou future intensified after Barcelona's crushing Champions League exit to Paris Saint-Germain in the last-16 stage, but the former Everton and Southampton boss is understood to be safe for now.

Sport reports that Barcelona are not prepared to consider their manager's future until the end of the campaign, barring a catastrophe between now and the conclusion of the 2020-21 season.

The report adds that Koeman's strong relationships with his players have helped his cause, and the emergence of young stars such as Pedri and Ronald Araujo is rated highly by the Blaugrana hierarchy.

The 57-year-old has won 27 of his 41 games in charge of the Blaugrana, and they lie third in the La Liga standings before Monday's meeting with Huesca.
